REDDING, CALIFORNIA (July 23, 2022) – A man identified as Kevin Rabedew was critically injured in a Redding car accident with a drunk driver on Oasis Road.
Shasta County officials are saying that the accident took place around 8:09 a.m. on Sunday. Kevin Rabedew was in a Ford Focus when his vehicle was broadsided by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Kevin Rabedew was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center with critical injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the Dodge Ram pickup truck on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
