Backpack giveaway
Back to school should not be a bill a family cannot pay. In August 2026 our team set up in Lynwood and handed out 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies, in English and Spanish, the way we do everything. Thank you to AIM HIGH for hosting us.

Turkey drive
For a lot of families the turkey is the part that gets skipped. In November 2025, with WBC Cares, DMG Boxing and our neighbors in Pico Union, we gave away 500 turkeys, no questions asked. Some of the people in line were former clients. Most were neighbors.

Toy giveaway
In December 2025 the TORKLAW team turned the Pico Union District into a toy store where everything was free. 500 toys, sweaters and meals went to 500 kids. Our attorneys carried boxes like everyone else. Every kid should have something to open.

A night out with the neighborhood
National Night Out is the one evening a year when a neighborhood and its police department meet on a sidewalk instead of at a traffic stop. In August 2025 we joined the LAPD with a booth, a WBC belt and a lot of conversations about staying safe on the road. Safer streets are fewer injuries.

100 young people from Chatsworth, a room full of people who made it, and one question: how? TORKLAW sponsored Pathways to Success with Life Driven, a panel of athletes, entrepreneurs and community activists who walked the path and showed it.
