Liability For Indio Festival Accidents

Depending on the particular facts of any case, a property owner could face liability if someone is hit by a falling sign. Pursuant to California Civil Code 1714, everyone is responsible not only for their willful acts but also for the lack of ordinary skill or care in the maintenance of their property. For example, a property owner may have failed to properly secure a sign which struck and injured someone. There are a number of steps that should be taken after any accident with a falling sign.

  • Eye witnesses should be interviewed.
