Meet Karen, the Supervising Attorney of TorkLaw’s Intake Department. Karen’s unwavering commitment to justice is what led her to the practice of personal injury law. 

Karen began her legal career in the public sector, first as an Assistant State Attorney for the state of Florida and later as an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Georgia. Karen’s quest for justice next brought her to join a criminal appeals firm, where her work led to the reversal of a first-degree murder conviction; a result that justice demanded and a life-altering outcome for her client. 

At TorkLaw, Karen is a ray of light to those reaching out to our firm. Her extensive legal knowledge, combined with her empathetic approach, ensures that clients find a comforting and understanding hand to welcome them on their path to justice. Karen extends the same level of empathy and understanding that she brings to our clients to her personal relationships, making her an integral part of a close-knit group of family and friends. 

When she’s not at work, Karen is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, hiking, and being near the water.
