LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (February 29, 2023) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a Pico Union hit-and-run car accident by Hoover Street north of Washington Boulevard.

Los Angeles County officials are saying that the accident took place around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday. A pedestrian was trying to cross the street when they were hit by a white vehicle with tinted windows.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
