THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA (February 15, 2023) – A man was seriously injured in a fire at a Thousand Oaks Motel 6 on 1516 Newbury Road.

Ventura Count officials are saying that the collision took place on Monday night. A man had to be rescued from a ground floor unit at the Motel 6 after a fire started.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment for serious injuries.

Firefighters were eventually able to put out the fire. A full investigation into the source of the blaze remains ongoing at this time.
