UNIVERSITY CITY, CALIFORNIA (January 2, 2022) – A male pedestrian was critically injured in a University City car accident by Genesse Avenue and Campus Point Drive.

University City officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. A Prius failed to yield to a pedestrian, according to police.

The male pedestrian was knocked to the ground and seriously injured. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
