14-year-old Spencer Hoover was run down and killed by a hit-and-run driver in the Inglewood district at 1 am Monday morning. The boy was crossing the street when the car struck the youth and drug him 50 feet. Witnesses say that the impact was severe enough to knock the teen out of his shoes. The driver not stop. The car that hit Spencer Hoover was described as a dark red Ford Focus with tinted windows. The car should have extensive front end damage.
