Tracy Horn, Esq.

San Diego Personal Injury Attorney

Tracy Horn - California Family Law Attorney

Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Horn received her bachelor’s from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, graduating in 2004 with a degree in forensic psychology.

After graduation, Ms. Horn moved to California for law school where she attended the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Having been awarded a scholarship based on her excellent performance on the LSAT examination, Ms. Horn continued to work full time while in school and graduated in 2 ½ years rather than the typical three-year schedule. Ms. Horn prides herself on her work ethic, understands the value in working hard for what you believe in, and will do what is necessary to get the job done.

While attending law school she competed for and was elected as a coach for the Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation Team. Under her leadership, the team placed third in the nationals, and Ms. Horn has continues to educate herself and explore alternative methods for resolving client’s disputes that do not involve protracted and at times unnecessary litigation. She is a firm believer that if both parties have the goal of a fair and equal resolution, then it is the parties that should be deciding their fate, and not necessarily the judicial system.

Following her graduation with honors in December 2007, Ms. Horn joined the California State Bar in 2008. A community activist, Ms. Horn worked with the Legal Aid Society in San Diego, California and was active in assisting low-income individuals in obtaining and defending both civil and domestic violence restraining orders. Through that work, she gained extensive knowledge and experience handling these types of cases.

After completing her work with the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Horn explored the area of complex civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury cases for approximately two and a half years. During this time Ms. Horn gained valuable experience in preparing a case from inception through trial and spent countless hours in the courtroom. From there, Ms. Horn embarked on a career in family law.

Building off her undergraduate degree in forensic psychology and her experience with the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Horn began practicing exclusively in the area of family law in 2012. There, she found her calling. Integrating her educational and professional background, Ms. Horn has honed her skills as a litigator, mediator, and advocate dedicated to giving her clients a voice before the court and representing their interests to the best of her ability.
