Car accidents are one of the leading causes of serious injury and death in the United States. According to one report featured in Science, “the arrival of ride-sharing was associated with a 2% to 3% increase in the number of car occupants and pedestrians killed in accidents between 2011 and 2016.” There are a number  of factors that could contribute to a car accident.
