Woman Killed In Watsonville Car Accident With Drunk Driver on Holohan Road

WATSONVILLE, CALIFORNIA (March 22, 2023) – A woman was killed in a Watsonville car accident with a drunk driver by the intersection of Holohan Road and Grimmer Road.

Watsonville police officials are saying that the collision took place around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday. A Volvo crossed over a double yellow line and collided head-on with a Hyundai.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims. One woman died and another person sustained major injuries.

The driver of the Volvo was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
