No Injuries In Los Angeles Freeway Fire
Firefighters from the Los Angeles fire department were required in order to handle a fire that stretched across two acres of a Los Angeles freeway. During the fire, a cloud of black smoke appeared over the area in San Fernando Valley. Firefighters responded to a call on Monday night, quickly arriving and extinguishing the fire at its location on SR 170. However, authorities from LAFD did close down the freeway for a short period of time. It was also reported that the black smoke was likely caused by burning palm trees on the side of the freeway.
