In Store Fire Sends 2 to Hospital

An evening fire in South Los Angeles was the the cause of multiple injuries at a mattress store yesterday. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident at 6:51 pm last night, when the fire occurred at the 1520 West Florence Ave. store.

The fire was substantial, involving flames across the structure which almost extended to nearby structures as well. Other buildings in the vicinity of the fires were a two-story apartment building and a church. Though the fire was quickly extinguished, two individuals involved in the fire suffered minor injuries.
