Consecutive Accidents on San Diego 405 Are Drunk Driving Accidents
Three interrelated accidents that took place one after another on San Diego Freeway 405 in Los Angeles County are suspected to have involved drunk driving, authorities have reported. In total, seven people were injured – three critically. Two unnamed drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
At about 3 a.m. on Sunday, the drunk driver of a minivan hit the median of the Freeway, impacting the divider and then coming to a stop. Behind the crash, a third driver then crashed into a car that had slowed in light of the accident. Authorities believe this driver was also drunk.
